About the role

Located in Melbourne’s South-East, Beretta Australia is a leading distributor of some of Australia’s most iconic brands within the firearms and outdoor sporting goods industry. The day-to-day operations of the warehouse include picking and packing of orders, replenishment of stock and receival of incoming inventory.

This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities: 

Your key responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following:

• Picking and packing of orders
• Quick and efficient processor
• Operating forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Assisting in Goods Inwards & Outwards physically and using the computerised system
• General warehousing duties
• Practice and ensure safe work practices in a safe working environment within company OH&S policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Have or get a clear National Police Check (Required).
• Current drivers and forklift LF licences (Required).
• An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills and time management.
• Customer focused.
• Ability to work as a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Good level of attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Great work ethic, honesty, flexibility, and integrity.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• To be physically fit and able to lift heavy packages.
• Ability to multi-task and successfully work as part of a team.

Bonus Qualities

• Firearm knowledge (an advantage)
• Medium rigid truck licence (an advantage)
