About Me:
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Design (Illustration & Animation) at Adelaide University, but when I’m not in class, I love playing basketball and hanging out with friends. Shooting has been a passion of mine ever since my dad introduced me to the sport about five years ago. It’s become a big part of my life, and I’ve met some amazing people through it.
Involvement in Shooting:
I focus on Sporting Clays and FITASC shooting, competing in either A or AA grade in the Juniors. My style is all about smoothness and timing, with a focus on gun mount consistency and maintaining the right lead on targets. When I’m in rhythm, I’m almost unstoppable, but I need a couple of shots to recover if I’m off.
Competitive Shooting:
I’m actively involved in several competitions this year:
- Field and Game Nationals 2025
- English Sporting Nationals 2025
- FITASC SCA National Titles 2025
- SCA South Australian State Titles 2025
Why I Love Shooting:
It all started with my dad, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since. The camaraderie and the competitive spirit make it exciting. I’ve also met so many great people and shots along the way.
Hunting:
I got into hunting about five years ago. It’s a lot of fun, especially hunting rabbits, foxes, and ducks. Duck hunting is always a highlight, and the 2023 duck season, where I shot from a boat for the first time, stands out as my most memorable hunt.
Gear & Setup:
My Beretta DT11 has boosted my performance to new heights in both local and national competitions. I also use a Uniform Pro 20.20 vest and Sako ammo for hunting.
Community:
Community is a big part of why I love shooting, I’m a member of Rocky Gully Sporting Clays, SCA, SAFGA, and FGA
Advice for Beginners:
“Don’t expect perfection. Even at the top level, you’ll miss easy targets sometimes, it’s part of the process.”
Content Creation:
I enjoy capturing competition footage and would love to review gear and products in the future.
Upcoming Plans:
I have several competitive shoots coming up later this year and including English Sporting Nationals, SCA Nationals and FGA Nationals
